About me

My name is Vitali Zverev, and I am a passionate hiker, traveler, and photographer with a deep love for nature, adventure, and visual storytelling. Based in Georgia, I spend much of my time exploring its dramatic mountain ranges, remote trails, and untouched landscapes, capturing moments that reveal the raw beauty of the natural world.

Georgia is my primary source of inspiration. Over the years, I have completed numerous hikes across the country, including unforgettable routes such as Khelitsadi Lake, the legendary XTP trek (Khevsureti – Tusheti – Pankisi) completed over nine adventurous days, the scenic trail from Juta to the Abudelauri Lakes, and the mystical Black Rock Lake, among many others. Each journey deepens my connection with nature and fuels my creative vision.

My photography focuses on travel, landscape, macro, and astrophotography. I enjoy capturing both vast panoramas and intricate natural details — from towering peaks and dramatic skies to tiny flowers and subtle textures. Night photography plays a special role in my work, combining my interests in astronomy and physics. I also create timelapse videos of the Milky Way and natural scenes, revealing the beauty of motion and the passage of time under the stars.

My work has been published on Shutterstock, allowing my images to reach a global audience. I also actively share my photography and timelapse projects through my Facebook page and Instagram, where I connect with fellow travelers, photographers, and nature lovers from around the world.

For me, photography is more than capturing images — it is about preserving emotion, atmosphere, and memory. Every photograph tells a story of discovery, patience, and respect for the environment. Through my work, I aim to inspire others to explore responsibly, appreciate untouched landscapes, and seek beauty in both grand and subtle moments.

This website, vitalizverevphotography.com, is my creative space and personal gallery, where I share my journeys, visual stories, and latest projects. I invite you to explore, get inspired, and experience the world through my lens.
